7月1日 Bollock - not BollockSLast night's social gathering at Jill's was a hoot to say the least. The evening->Morning mainly consisted of: 5月1日 Overpowering Awesomeness (And a bit of crappiness)Well yesterday was mostly good. Me, Lauren, Laura and Rory strolled around town for a bit, being scared by huge-eyed cats, yelling at The Streets and basically having a chuckle and 'acting childish' in Costa. We wondered around for a bit, but time went kinda quick, so me and Laura had to catch the bus.
I went home, had tea and shizz and then went to meet everyone at 6.40pm. We got to the Tunnels early, so went to get Keri food. Again, when we went to the Tunnels, we were early, so we started to queue up. Lauren came out and Jamie said hi while 'avin' a faaaag. Damn, he is the jolly giant. Then Lauren brought Michael out. Aww :D We spoke about the drumstick thing and soon after that we got let in. Met Nadia and Lauren's dad and made our way to the stage. No-one was in front of us, so we were right at the front. The Rebel came on first. They were... uh... different to say the least. The lyrics were genius though. Something along the lines of, "Thatcher won't give nothin' for free, I have to pay for a cup of fuckin' tea." The main guy was also playing about with a gameboy which was kinda cool. Michael was getting ready to set up his drums, so tapped me and went, "Fuckin' brilliant, aren't they?"
"Yeah, he fucked a prostitute when he was 13? They're um...weir--interesting! Quite Adam Green though..." "Oh, better than Adam Green - more original. I've obviously been with them every night and you can't really hear their lyrics from the back, but God are they good!" Then he went on and played around with his drums :P Jamie said hi on his way up and right behind him was the only one I hadn't spoken to yet, "Jackie!" He recognised me and let out a chuckle and said something about how he was really looking forward to the gig. They got set up and played a brilliant set. Starting with Cult Status, proving Rory wrong as he thought they'd start with You're Supposed To Be My Friend. Guitar strings were snapped, video clips and photos were taken and there was quite a bit of laughter. Jamie was amazingly good, Michael was going at it like a kid with A.D.D and Jackie was extraordinary. It was brilliant. On their way off, I praised Jamie and stopped Jackie, "You were brilliant!"
"Thanks! Best gig of the tour!" "Gimme a hug!" *Hugs* "I'm all sweaty!" "Ooh, I loves it!" "Ahaha :D"
The Long Blondes were soon onstage getting ready to set up. Screech came right in front of us, so he posed for a photo, but my camera flashes three times and takes the picture on the third flash, so he had looked down. We have an amazing hair shot, though :P
Their set list was...
Only Lovers Left Alive
Appropriation
Once and Never Again
Weekend Without Make-Up
Lust in the Movies
Madame Ray
Swallow Tattoo
You Could Have Both
Giddy Stratospheres
Separated by Motorways
They were brilliant. We stayed at the very front until to two last songs where we got shoved back a bit, but it was alright. Tamer than Morrissey and that's just weird! Although, at the end, Dorian did a stage dive. *Strokes* Which was nice muaha
We went to the stage to try and steal the setlist, but it had gone and all that was left was the bassist, Reenie's glass bottle of water, so, we had that. I hid it under my jacket. I followed everyone on the way out, but lost my lovely friends, when my equally lovely cousin spotted me and introduced me to his friends. I got out to the foyer (that's the wrong word) where I saw Michael and Jamie selling their merchandise and showed Michael the stolen bottle, "Oh, you punk rocker!" Keri bought me a badge and El Jackson turned up behind me again (Cue another "Jackiieee!" and a chuckle from the man himself) I showed him the water and again he laughed. He seemed to take great pleasure in laughing at Jamie and Michael for their stallmanship :P He buggered off somewhere (we couldn't find him for a while after that) so I got my photo taken with my buddies and heard girls behind me say, "Quit hoggin' my man!" about Michael hehe. I whispered this to him, to which he replied, "Well, they'll have to prove their love and buy something!"
I continued to show him pictures of my advertising. "And where did you stick them?" "On this bus." "Ooh, it looks a posh bus." "First bus? Haha, hell no!" "What did they say?"
"Um... just had like the website address on it and stuff." "Well, good effort, Kirst, maybe it brought people here!" More banter that I can't really remember.
I saw my cousin again and said, "Wanna meet some 90s?" and he seemed eager. I introduced him to Jamie and they spent about five minutes attempting to get the back off one of the 1990s stickers.
I did the old 'drinky drinky' sign to Jamie after he'd left. "Aye, but it's okay, 'cos so I am I..." "Yeah, but you can handle it..." "That's what you think ;)" Spoke some more to him and the McGaughrin and then saw Screech from the Long Blondes again.
"Screech! You legend!"
"Oh hi!" "Can I get my photo with you?"
"Sure." But then he got talking to the McGaughrin. Bah... Keri eventually managed to get our photo and I took one with her and him. He spoke to us for a bit.
"I was gonna give you my drumsticks, but I couldn't find you at the end!"
"Aww! That's okay, though, I stole one of you's water."
"Oh, Reenie's water! Hold onto that, it might be worth something."
"eBay..." "Haha yeah! Tonight's been brilliant. One of the best gigs we've ever played, we've never had an atmosphere like this before..." "So that means you'll come back then?" "Oh, definately!" "Didn't you lot just get signed the other week?" "Yeah, about 3 weeks ago. So we'll have our first single out soon!" "Great! 'Cos everywhere always said 'Unsigned Act' and I thought, 'Why are they unsigned?!'" "Yeah, well, there was a big, long, boring story that I probably shouldn't get into, but it took longer than we'd hoped, but it's all good now we've signed!"
The chatting continued and we got onto the subject of getting pushed around a bit. Me: "Everyone started a bit slow, but then the place went mental."
Screech: "I didn't think it was that slow, but near the end, I was worried about you guys down the front, I saw you all almost on the floor and was like 'Oh, no, don't hurt yourselves!'" Me: "Aw, it's nice you get these caring rockstars!"
Screech: "I saw you when Dorian jumped into the crowd at the end as well!"
Me: "I stroked Dorian!" Screech: "Ahaha, I did think he might do it, he's been going all weekend, 'I really wanna try jumping in the crowd!'" Laura: "I tried to steal his shoe, but..." Screech: "Oh yeah, well I don't know if he'd have been happy!"
Keri: "I kept getting stood on!" Me: "Everyone got stood on!" Laura: "We told you to bring appropriate footwear, Keri!" Screech: "Aha, well, I really had better get going anyway or else they'll all go without me..."
Me: "Aww... but yeah, come back." Screech: "We will, we definately will. Bye!" Me, Laura, Keri: "Byeee! Aww!" Once more, who turns up on his way to the toilet? "Jackiieeee!" *More chuckling* I asked if he'd sign some stuff for my lovely friends, which he did and I attempted to let Neil meet him too, but he waited for a bit and disappeared, strangely...
Jackie: "What's your name?" Keri: "Keri." Jackie: "Carrie, right, with a C?" Keri: "No, with a K" Me: "Kay-Ee-Arr-Aye." Jackie: "Ohhh! Keri!" Rory: "Yeah, you have a really lame spelling, Keri..."
Jackie: "And your name?"
Jill: "Jill." Me: "With a J, not a G!" Jackie: "Yeah!" Me: "Yeah, 'cos we saw you at Franz and that's when--" Jackie: "I know thaaaat! :D" We got a group photo and then he had to dash to the toilet. I spoke to Lauren some more about the whole Dorian strokage and we got more photos and then it all goes a bit blurry. I remember it being almost empty and Jill and Jamie emerging from outside saying we had to go, so I said bye to Jackie and got a hug from him after he was telling the story of the girl who didn't look happy to be there and how he was tempted to kick her over. More hugs and Jackie slurring, "Yeah, yeah, Lauren, Myspace's where it's at!"
So, we had to leave and Jackie yelled "Kirsten, see you on myspace!" and Laura said she'd add him. We left and I never got to say goodbye to Jamie the Giant or McGaughrin. Grr...
We pranced around town before getting a lift and dropping people off. We got home and dad said, "Bad news."
I knew what was coming. "Your Uncle Jock died at about 8.20. I didn't wanna tell you in front of your friends."
Well, ain't that something to ruin an amazing day? Fare thee well...
XxXxX 4月23日 Morrissey - Live!Well, last night was pretty amazing, but I'll start from the start (Bet you're happy about that(!))
I went into town pretty early, about 12ish (That's early for me) and thought, 'Hold on, why am I in town? I don't need anything...' so I went to the Music Hall and saw three huge Stage Truck, but no tourbuses. There were some angry roadies telling stories round the back, so I walked round twice. They musta thought I was a bit weird. So, somehow, I managed to pass time and met up with ma at about 2pm and got some food, then put the Schwest onto her bus home at about 3.30pm. I went for a bus at 4pm and got home half an hour later and left the house half and hour after that again. I got to the Music Hall at about 5.30 and there were quite a few people there. I watched, bemused, as a bequiffled (there were loadsa people with quiffs) man was being told a Hobo's life story. Me and this guy watched on looking amused and when he left, I took his place behind some girl. I spoke to the guy and girl for a while who were cool. Laura turned up telling us tales of her interview to which we chuckled. We got into the Music Hall at 7.30 and got to the front. Well, about three rows from the front. Sons and Daughters came on and were pretty good, but you couldn't hear the lead wifie's vocals over the guitars and drums. They were still cool though. But yeah... the lack of instrumental playing from the lead was funny. But, boy, could she play tambourine!
Moz came on at about 9 and everything went mental. It was brilliant, I took loadsa film clips and photos. The highlights were:
*After everyone chanting, "Morrissey, Morrissey, Morrissey!" he returned the favour by chanting, "Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Aberdeen!"
*The banter: "Um... we're in Stirling tomorrow. Any advice? Should we be scared? Well... we're not.", "I was trying to think of big bands from Aberdeen... it was quite difficult... so I stopped." *"GIRLFRIEND IN A COMA!" "Erm... no." [They start playing Girlfriend in a Coma] *How Soon is Now and Still Ill were pretty amazing. Everyone went wild, though.
*The shirt throwing.
*The changing of shirts.
*The yelling of "I Want Yer Baybez!" to make up for lack of sign saying the same thing.
*The lack of flowers and contemplating stealing flowers from the window box.
*The throwing of crap onto the stage and trying to get the security guys to notice.
*Being ignored by security guys.
There's more but I can't think.
Brilliant.
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 4月10日 Jonny's Fun Festival GameJonny is bored in the car on the way to Newcastle. I can tell he is bored, 'cos he asked me a really long question, "If you could have your own festival over a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, where would you have it? Who would be playing? (Any bands, even bands that aren't around any more, bands with dead members, new bands, current bands, whatever) How many stages and who would you invite?"
So, I decided to think something up...
I would have to have this festival either in a huge field in Scotland somewhere, like T or, just my back garden. Dream bands (including bands that would have to or rebirth) would be The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths, Joy Division AND New Order (Dunno how that'd work, though.), Queen, The Pogues, Jimi, Pulp, Blur, The Yummy Fur, V.Twin, Franz Ferdinand, The Fiery Furnaces, 1990s, Morrissey, Charlotte Hatherley and Ash (together again and Chazza seperate). They would be the main ones, but obviously, there'd be loads more, especially new bands like The Automatic and local bands like Right Hand Left, 'cos they rule. I'd make my dad play too, JB and The Classics. There'd also be a comedy block for an hour every three hours, where my lovely comedians would perform and make us chortle. I would invite all of my friends and seeing as we're doing a wish thing here, I'd invite all of you myspace lot too. W00t! And after the music had sadly ended, we'd try cram into my house and garden for a massive party. I'd say, if it was in the summer, we'd have a BBQ in the garden, but Moz'll be there, so I wouldn't want him to storm off. In Jonny's exact words, "All my mates. In my backie lol. There would be a legend set and a futures set. I'd have mozzer round and new order! Id have me tea with hooky! The automatic, right hand left, the subways, the chili peppers, A-HA, panic @ the disco and of course the BRAVERY! and id have ross noble and derren brown present with their own wee gigs too! And ill [have] my space set up to see if any other bands wanna be on the bill! There would be a free beer tent and other drink tent! And a dvd making tent so you could make your own personal dvd and id give everyone there their own video camera and all of it would go on the extras! You can tel im bored lol ive probs missed out a lot of acts aswell they can play via satelite lol XxxxxX tb"
Think he gave it slightly more thought than me... All that in five pages of a text... Jesus... so what would your festival be like?
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 4月8日 Only 19 For God's Sake[MUSIC: The Long Blondes - Once and Never Again]
Hello, bitches, how goes?
Last night was very much fun. Well... yesterday in General. It was Laura's Party Part 2 of 2. We went to Jimmy Chungs at lunchtime and apparently, NEDs just love it there too... There were loads. All of whom seemed to believe we were laughing constantly at them/slagging them off. Eavesdropping! (Lol, that's your speciality, Jonny :D )
[MUSIC: Morrissey - Disappointed (Live)]
So had some nice stuff and fucking fantastic cake. Mmm... We then returned to Chez Laura where we ate some more and played Jenga. Ollld schooool. We watched "Rumour Has It..." which was quite funny, ate some more, played slowly-increasing-in-vulnerabilty-Monopoly, which was funny. "I Wasn't In The Room!" we ate ice cream, drank and watched Saw II and I finished my huge thing of Bailey's ice cream and cracked open the rum. "Kirsten, you smell like my Granny!" and Laura left random comments to people on myspace and attempted to text Lauren. Stuff like this carried on all night 'til about 5am. Good times.
So, boredom a few days ago, led me to figure out that it's...
14 days 'til Morrissey
22 days 'til 1990s/The Long Blondes
33 days 'til The Zutons
36 days 'til Derren Brown
68 days 'til Dylan Moran 91 days 'til T in the Park Speaking of T, ma says that there are apparently, "Growing concerns about it" now 'cos the place it's at is near a poultry thing. Woo, Bird Flu city! Fuck off, no-one's stopping me from going! I mean, look at the lineup change... http://www.tinthepark.co.uk/lineup06.html
[MUSIC: Morrissey - Girl Least Likely To]
What the hell are the Arctic Monkeys doing on the Main Stage when Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and We Are Scientists are on Pet Sounds Area and the Radio 1/NME Stage? I know they're getting really big, but srsly! And El Presidente on the main stage? I don't mind them, but I'd rather see Editors up there than them.
I'll stop ranting and go get some tea. Ooh, am off to see The Little Kicks/Right Hand Left/Edison tonight. I didn't realise that Edison is Jason The Pirate's band! Awesomeee!
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 4月5日 I've Been Dreaming Of A Time When...Greetings, my lovely bitches. How are you? Really? That's great!
I have done more in the first 3 days of the holidays than I usually do for the whole two weeks. I'll run through the highlights as I'm feeling like I could write for days again. So... Friday. Last day of term which is always fun. Don't think we did any work at all... And at night was Laura's 'Easter Gathering' aka her Part 1 of 2 of her birthday egg-stravaganza (like the little easter joke there? I did chortle, myself...) which was hella fun. Main funniness? Danny and Gary's balloon tits ("Your boob, sir."), Jonny being the sexy dominator (Lmao) - "Sit on my lap, bitch!", Trying to stop Rory going near Laura's iPod and the photo of everyone scared and the hilarious film. Ah, cannibal zombie gollumy things rule. Yes, overall a very good night. Although, I do still have Master Jonathan's watch... Have been wearing two since...
Um... on Saturday, I didn't do much. Got really pissed off at my dad. Sunday, I left for Edinburgh. We shopped for a bit and went out for tea with Schwest and 'Thew. Monday, still in Edinburgh, went to the Edinburgh Dungeon which was absolutely hilarious. We all need to go down and get 'scared' sometime, right? Megabuuuus! Lol. Although, this summer, Glasgow, next summer, london... will have to be the summer after that :D Yeah, so schwest used gher wunderbar HMV discount to get me Green Wing Series 1 on DVD, but refused to buy me Morrissey's album, so I had to buy it in Asda yesterday. Oh. My. God. How good?! And Moz got filthy! Eg: "There are explosive kegs between my legs." explained by Rory as, "He is referring to his bollocks..."
Then, there's, "Now I'm spreading your legs with mine in between..." O-ho, Mozilini!
And, "I entered nothing and nothing entered me, until you came with the key." Oh, 'key' that's what you call it nowadays, is it? Yeah, so now I can't wait to go see him. Me and Laura with our lame banners down the front, "Mozzerfunker, I want yer baybeez!"
And finally, Rory wrote on my jacket in chalk yesterday. All of it is coming off, 'cept "Poppy Cock" in huge writing.
Jonny is currently moaning 'cos he has just realised that he likes a Michael Jackson song.
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 3月23日 1990s WhoringHello, hello.
Again, I felt like an update. And thought I'd force you to download something. A short, 1 minute 5 second video clip of 1990s live. You can get it here: http://www.vimeo.com/clip=27560
Very cool. Also, check out www.myspace.com/1990sband and www.1990s.tv
And if you're in Aberdeen and are free on the 30th April, go check them out with The Long Blondes (w00t!) and The Rebel at the Tunnels.
Wow, this week seems to have gone past awful quick. Had that 'exam success' thing on Tuesday. Basically, some guy called Jim, speaking crap trying to be funny and getting us to revise and shizz. He also tried some Paul McKenna type thing to get us to sleep. That stuff doesn't work on me, though. "Life's a bitch", Rory. Nice. Imo/Modge seemed to have a bit of a chuckle at that, Rory. Lawl!!!1!!9!!!9!!!0!!111! God, I suck. Although n00b speak is a fun thing to do online...
My unsly subliminal messaging didn't work, did it?
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 3月18日 <Insert Amusing Title Here>Well, haven't updated in a while. Since my last update... I've... not done too much. Got my Business Managament project finally done. I thought I never would. That was crap.
Yesterday our Food Skills class managed to make some Chemistry teacher almost cry. Yeah... it's been a slow few weeks...
Ooh, Ryan says he can't do the lighting for 1990s gig anymore, so I told Michael, who said,
"cheers kirsten.
yous lot could always bring torches, cigarette lighters, lasers and reflective glittery shit. x M" So, that'll be me on the lighters, Laura on the torches, Rory on the lasers (lucky bastard) and Jill can provide the reflective glittery shit :D
Oh, and the gist of T in the Park so far...
Saturday 8th July 2006
Red Hot Chili Peppers Franz Ferdinand Kaiser Chiefs Paul Weller Placebo Goldfrapp Pharrell Williams Sigur Ros Charlatans The Ordinary Boys Manu Chao Damian Marley Ben Harper Clap Your Hands Say Yeah The Kooks The Feeling The Orb Laurent Garnier My Robot Friend Sunday 9th July 2006 The Who The Strokes Arctic Monkeys Hard-Fi Richard Ashcroft The Magic Numbers The Proclaimers Primal Scream Editors The Go! Team Felix Da Housecat Slam Eels Rob Da Bank The ones I really wanna see are...
Franz, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Who, The Strokes, The Proclaimers and Editors.
I don't even think that is the final lineup yet, which is fucking brilliant. This is gonna be the best summer EVER.
This is definately gig year too. We were at Laura's last night and I found out that Morrissey is a pricey bugger, £32.75 - but I reckon it'll be well worth it. Laura, your dad was getting all excited, going "I've definately got to be at the front for Morrissey..."
And, the Zutons. That'll be pretty cool. They've got a new album out in April, so like Franz, we'll have a month to learn all the words :P
Got a few CDs I'll buy when they come out. The three main ones are the Mozfather, The Zutons and The Automatic. (Let's go see Raoul! Mmm... Pennie... look at the pretty pictures! www.myspace.com/indienoize)
I seem to have abandoned this space (awww) and gone to the dark side. www.myspace.com - it's so addictive, though!
Some cool spaces:
www.myspace.com/haroldfuckinbishop - Hilarious
www.myspace.com/mydownfalluk - My friend, Calum's band
www.myspace.com/jesusandthesheep - Lauren likes to send dirty messages to Jesus...
That will be all... for now...
Fare thee well...

XxXxX SnowSo, it's been snowing since Wednesday. This rules. It's hella deep, so all my clothes are soaking. I left the house for the first time in about 2 weeks on Friday. I just cracked and ran out in jeans and a tshirt and jumped into a pile of snow my dad had shovelled. It felt good. Cabin Fever begone!
So, Friday, went out with Laura and Rory, Saturday was Laura and Keri and Saturday night, Jill, Jamie and Rory. Keri's sledge managed to crack in half. Ah, good times. Me and Rory went past Laura's and annoyed her, then walked the long way, bitching about little wannabe cock-boys and singing "Who's Got The Crack?"
Good times...
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 2月28日 An UpdateI felt an update was in order as I am feeling royally shit. Currently, I am sitting. On a chair. Eating Jelly Tots. If I didn't have Bird Flu or whatever the fuck I've got, I'd say life couldn't get much better. Yeah... so, I've been off for a week now and never have I felt this bad. I haven't eaten properly since last Monday. I just can't. Although I am absolutely starving.
So, my days have consisted of taking all my blankets and crap downstairs onto the couch and watching either cheesy American sitcoms, the Franz DVD (Ohhh, live, sweaty and drunk Kapranos is always a good thing. FRINGE!), Black Books or Eddie Izzard. I watched that 100 Funniest Moments thing on Channel4 on Sunday while texting Lauren. As I feel shit and delirious constantly, I texted her a two page text of drivel about how I would love to be in a room alone with John McCrirrick and a gun. I then rambled on and she didn't text back. Surprisingly. I think she just thought "Oh, poor, rambling Kirsten. Bird Flu has taken away the best part of her ability to be coherant." or maybe she just thought "That text is worthy of no reply."
So...yeah, I missed The Automatic on Saturday with Jonny and El Paulo. I was quite miserable 'cos I missed it. Apparently it was excellent. And Trav snuck in for the last song lol so I coulda said hello. Ah well... plenty more gigs for the rest of the year... The Majority in April/May, though. Brilliant. Exam time.
Can't wait for summer.
1. 'Cos it'll be summer.
2. T in the Park
3. Craig's coming up again for the first time in years so we'll have a day together of doing random things to keep us amused.
Speaking of T in the Park - www.tinthepark.com/lineup06
Those of you too lazy to click, the lineup so far...
"Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Placebo, Richard Ashcroft, Belle and Sebastian, The Magic Numbers, Primal Scream, Sigur Ros, The Charlatans, The Ordinary Boys, Manu Chao, Damien Marley, Slam, Felix Da Housecat"
All I'm really caring about just now are Franz, The Who, Belle and Sebastian, The Strokes and RHCP. Kaiser Chiefs seem like a laugh live (But who won Best Live Act at the NME awards, eh? Eh?) and they may get upstaged by another Kaisersaurous, so, who knows?
I know by writing this I may be giving off the impression that I'm well enough to move, but throughout the typing process of this entry, I've been coughing, spluttering, sneezing, wheezing and hoping that I'll die soon (but come back to life as soon as I'm better)
Well done and sorry if you read all that and if not... Meh, it's easy to understand why you wouldn't.
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 2月17日 Gosh! The title was supposed to be said in a Napoleon Dynamite voice...
What an eventful 48 hours!
Yesterday, not much happened, until I found out that some chavvy scumbags tried to break into my house while I was in at lunchtime. They smashed the outside pane of my kitchen window and my next door neighbour's back window of her car. What twats. I'm hankering for an ass-whooping...
So, the police and insurance people were called and stuff, so the window should be getting fixed today...
And today... well... wow... I woke up early to get to ticketmaster for 9am to get T in the Park tickets. After about 50 minutes of waiting, I was told "No tickets for the weekend are available" so we ended up paying extra for two Saturday tickets and two Sunday tickets. £261.25 altogether I think. But I don't care, I'm going, baby! Franz, RHCP, The Who, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and (obviously) more better watch out :D
Fare thee well...

Tickets go on sale on the 17th of February, so if you wanna come, let me know by then, we'll talk :P
I'd go to see The Who alone, they'd be amazing.
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 2月11日 Party of the YearMe and Lauren decided that we're hosting a big-ass fancy-dress party at the Scotstown Chateau. We may need to break in, though, as I am not prepared to pay the hundred billion kajillion pounds it would cost to buy that place. Yes, you're all invited! Provided that we know you and you're not a chav. Apply within.
So, today I went to a ridiculously posh restaurant on Chapel Street called Howies, that reminds me, I had a rather fine Port last night... yes... It's dad's birthday, so we had a birthday lunch *Gasp, not a birthday tea!*
Matthew and Dad are strangely similar personality-wise. It's scary. But kinda nice.
Right, I'm offski. To.. do nothing. BORED!
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 2月8日 Musically ObsessedAlright, Treacles?
Haven't updated in a while, so here we are again... Lucky you - Run while you have the chance.
So, I finished work experience last week, which is quite sad, 'cos I really enjoyed my place. I'll go back sometime. Have been thinking about T in The Park and realising that I've gotta go this year. Three bands have made me wanna go, Franz, Radiohead and RHCP. Details of everything are being announced next week, so I suppose I'll have to wait. And the RHCP UK Tour is being announced on the 13th February. Grr... it's all so far away! Hehe.
So...yeahhh... Am going to see Morrissey now. Me and Laura are gonna be Mozzing it up in April. Heh, should be a chuckle. But sooner than that, me and Jonathan will be seeing The Automatic, hopefully, on the 25th of February, so I won't be waiting too long to see another gig. Ah, gig it up. I do not know what is up with me and saying "<INSERT-WORD-HERE> it up."
Right, I'm going, 'cos I have nothing to say. Fare thee well...
XxXxX 1月28日 An Hour With Franz Part II was trying to tell Laura about this but I can't explain things, so here it is. Read it all, it seems like a lot, but it doesn't take long. And it's tres funny.

XxXxX 1月24日 Time For A ChangeI really wanna change the colour scheme and theme and crap on here, but have no idea what to change it to. There should be more choices! Or custom backgrounds or something... like myspace... okay, won't complain anymore.
Have been space-hopping - as I do when I get bored beyond help. Have found some strange ones, but then, I can hardly talk. Oh, God, I'm so bored that I can't even be assed to write a huge, beast of a blog! What's wrong with me?
Woo! The heating's just come on... it's feckin' freezing. So... this is what I've resorted to? Discussing heating. Apparently so. So... I'm wearing my new nerdy jumper. Am lovin' this whole geek chic thing. Nerds rule! :P
Right, I'm going. I have... crap to do...
Fare thee well...
XxXxX 1月20日 I Want Pringles...God... I feel like how I imagine coming off heroin would feel. Only joking. I neeeeeed Pringles! I seem to be friggen obsessed with two foods these days, Pringles (Original, Rory.) and Rice. We're all outta coke and lemonade, so at lunch, I got thirsty and thought "Hmm... how can I make diet Coke outta normal Coke?" so I put some normal Coke in a glass and then topped it up with some soda water. It was rib-crackingly disgusting. I still drank it, though, I was thirsty!
Me and Laura had our first "Jammin' Session" last night, which consisted of me playing "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger on bass and Laura playing the guitar chords along with it. I should really learn how to play properly... after that trying and testing time, we got bored and watched Big Brother. Maggot exploded! W00t! There's the Modern Day Fagin we all know and love! He won't go. Traci will... Well... my money's on Traci... maybe Rula... No, Traci... Traci...
I've somehow managed to get myself signed up for some thing at school that my English teacher thinks could "Really benefit me". I think in our class, it's just our table doing it, so Rory, Ryan, maybe Aneeka and I think Lisa is. T'other Lisa isn't doing it. Laura's been roped into it too, so we're convincing Jill to come. Could be a laugh... Am I kidding myself?
I have come to the conclusion that me and Laura are fluent in Random. This was after Ryan came up to me today and said, "Kirsty, I love you, you speak so much shite!" It's true. Although even Laura didn't know what the hell I was on about the other day. I went all splenetic and did the emo thing, "No-one understands meeeee!" Ah, love it...
Speaking of Ryan, I've used my wikked madd persuasive skillz to get him to do lighting for 1990s when they come to the Tunnels in April. Well... it wasn't me using my wikked madd persuasive skillz, it was more a case of me telling him about the boys coming to Aberdeen and him going, "Oh! I could do their lighting!" so I emailed Michael and he said, "Mmm... Free lighting, good work, K!" - now Ryan is gonna use his wikked madd persuasive skillz to get them to play at a gig he's involved with setting up.
Right, am off now, will probably update with more shite later. Jill's here and she's trying to attack me with a cat... Better than a duck! :P
Fare thee well...
XxXxX
Jill says "byeeeee!"
